Kratom brew generally refers to kratom prepared in water as a tea or infusion. The phrase overlaps heavily with kratom tea, and both terms are used online for hot, chilled and large-batch preparations.
Academic and public-health sources describe kratom leaves as being prepared as tea, while commercial sites use both “kratom brew” and “kratom tea” terminology for brewing instructions, equipment and products.
Kratom brew and kratom tea are closely related terms
The European Union Drugs Agency notes that fresh or dried kratom leaves have traditionally been made into tea. The U.S. National Institute on Drug Abuse also identifies kratom as a plant-based substance with a variety of forms and preparations.
