Kratom tea is a beverage prepared from kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) leaf material in water. It may be made from crushed leaf, powder or commercially prepared tea bags.
A 2023 peer-reviewed study indexed by PubMed specifically evaluated kratom tea-bag products and tea-infusion extraction, showing that “kratom tea” is also a term used in scientific literature rather than only commercial marketing.
